Susan P. Tremmel

Susan  P.  Tremmel,  87 of Summersville WV, formerly of Claysburg, passed away peacefully, Tuesday September 20, 2022.  She was born March 15, 1935, in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Walters) Perry.  She married Herbert Tremmel on April 4, 1956 in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2007.

Surviving is a loving son Rex Tremmel and wife Roseanne of Summersville, WV, grandchildren, John Prutsok (Linda), Teresa Mooney (Brian), Sara Betler (Evan), Barbara Ceslovnik (Jason), Ryan Tremmel, Michael Prursok (Palonia) and Christopher Prutsok, great grandchildren, Tanner Williams (Allyson), Emily Williams, Marcus Tremmel, Molly, Camellia, Banka, Anthony and Annabelle Prutsok

Susan was a former artist, photographer and member of the St Johns Catholic Church in Summersville.  She was a past member of the Blair County Historic Society, Farm Show and Friends of the Library in Claysburg.

Susan was a world traveler, a wonderful artist and brought a happiness to the community that won’t soon be forgotten.
 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday September 24th in the St. Johns Catholic Church in Summersville, WV with Father Rene Gerona S.V.D. officiating. Friends may call at the Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville, WV from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening.

Friends may also call from noon until 2:00 P.M. Monday September 26, 2022 at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg with burial at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona, following the visitation.
