Suzanne Zembower, 78, of Sproul passed away, unexpectedly, Saturday May 7, 2022 at UPMC-Altoona. She was born October 24, 1943 in Johnstown, daughter of the late William C. Johnston and Mary Evelyn (Dively) Sirko.
Surviving is a brother Kim Sirko (Michelle) of St. Augustine, FL, son Allen C. Whetstone IV (Tina) of Hernando Beach, FL, three daughters Elizabeth Black of Punta Gorda, FL, Christine Whetstone and Gretchen Baugh both of Sproul, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a nephew and a niece. She was preceded in death by a son Chad Zembower and a grandson Alexander Whetstone.
Suzanne attended Greenfield-Kimmel High School. She worked in many different occupations, such as Bartender at her family bar, jewelry store clerk, a personal aide for Blair County Services and also took care of her aunt and uncle until they passed.
Sue enjoyed traveling with her good friend and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She was an avid pet lover and had many four paw children. She will always be remembered for her beauty and kindness.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a local animal shelter.
