Thomas Wolfe Arrrangement

Thomas E. Wolfe, 83, of Blue Knob, passed away Sunday March 13, 2022 at the home of his daughter. He was born November 25, 1938, in Altoona, son of the late William and Fay (Kachelries) Wolfe. He married Mary Weyant on April 25, 1959 in East Freedom.

 

 


Surviving is his wife of 63 years, a daughter Juanita Knisely and husband Gary of Blue Knob, a son Thomas C. Wolfe and wife Cathy of Everett, 3 grandchildren Jenna Weyandt and husband Ricky, Jamie Feather and husband Brad and Chase Knisely and wife Nicole, a sister Cheryl Wolfe and husband Kevin Dilling of East Freedom and a brother David Wolfe and wife Mary of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, a brother Ronald Wolfe and great granddaughter Rylie Weyandt.

 

 


Thomas was a 1956 graduate of Roaring Spring High School and served in the Marine Corps Reserves and National Guard. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg.

 

 


Thomas was Past President of the Blair County Chapter of Trout Unlimited and a Blair County Game Commission Deputy Warden. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed spending time outdoors. 

 

 


Friends will be received from 4 P.M. until the 6:00 P.M. funeral service on Thursday March 17, 2022 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg, with Pastor Erik Lingenfelter officiating. Interment at St. Mark’s Cemetery, King.
