Walter J. Weyandt, 78, of Claysburg passed away Tuesday January 15, 2019 at UPMC-Altoona. He was born January 25, 1940 in Claysburg, son of the late Andrew Weyandt and Alice (Hetrick) Weyandt-Diehl.

Surviving are a brother Roger “Red” Weyandt and wife Paula of Claysburg and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers John and Charles Weyandt.

Walter was a 1959 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School and was employed for many years at Champion Homes. He enjoyed going to car shows and cruise-ins and old-time rock and roll.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
