William “Spud” D. Feathers Sr.

William D. “Spud” Feathers Sr., 61, of East Freedom, passed away Saturday August 1, 2020 at home. He was born November 2, 1958 in Cleveland, OH son of Doris Ruth (Feathers) Ritchey. He married Charlotte Pensyl on November 2, 2014 at East Freedom.

Surviving are his wife, a son William D. “Bill” Feathers Jr., three daughters April Salyer,  Misti and Teresa Feathers, Laurel “Tiny” Rodriguez, who was like a daughter, James Progh who was like a son,  sisters Carol Feathers and Melba Amick and brothers Ike Fleck and Terry Weyandt.

Spud attended Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg. He was employed as a butcher at Tri County Meats until becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, playing gin and playing the lottery and watching movies and TV.

Friends will be received from 2 P.M. until the 4:00 P.M. funeral service on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg, with Pastor Erik Lingenfelter officiating.
