Craig Allen McCarty, 60, of Claysburg, passed away Sunday December 31, 2017 at UPMC-Presbyterian. He was born January 16, 1957 in Roaring Spring, son of Shirley J. (Reed) McCarty and the late Jack I. McCarty. He married Nancy J. Gleichert October 1, 1983 in Camphill. She passed away December 16, 2007.
Surviving are his mother, two children Shawn and wife Jennifer of Anchorage, AK, Stacy Helsel and husband Tim of Claysburg, three grandchildren Lydia, Reiley and Emiley; two brothers Bryan and wife Toni, Kevin and wife Arleen, two sisters Lori Woodring and husband Bruce, Lisa Myers and husband Barry, all of Claysburg, and many nieces and nephews.
Craig was a 1974 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
